The Creeping Briar

The Creeping Briar is a Strangeness Setting Element for Jay Dragon's Sleepaway.

It was created over a week as part of Sleepaway Jam.

'The thorned tendrils of The Creeping Briar sprout from the ancient places of the Woods to engulf all things. Many are bound together in its embrace, their existence happy to serve the Briar. It is subtle at first, the insidious influence it holds, until the barbs dig in and to resist becomes futile. It is OK; the struggle stops in time. Some say even the Lindworm moves according to its will. The Briar covets hegemony, the in-group, and permanence above all else.'
